Es profesor de Comunicación, Realización y Producción. En los tres ultimos anos ha sido director del curso ‘Comisariado y Desarrollo de Proyectos Expositivos en Arte Contemporáneo’ que organiza la Fundación Valentín de Madariaga - MP (Sevilla). También colabora con la asignatura ‘Crítica de Arte’ de Departamento de Historia del Arte de la Universidad de Sevilla.

Como crítico de arte es colaborador habitual de ‘EL CULTURAL’, suplemento semanal de ‘EL MUNDO’, el periódico ‘DIARIO DE SEVILLA’, el portal web ARTE-CONTEXTO y editor de la revista digital LA RAYA VERDE y la plataforma digital de información y archivo PRESENTE CONTINUO. Ha publicado varios libros especializados sobre arte contemporáneo, el último ‘Stand By_012. Guía de fotografía andaluza actual’ (2012), además de haber escrito ensayos o textos sobre múltiples artistas, entre otros Pieter Hugo, Juliao Sarmento, Per Barclay, Martin Kippenberger, Jack Pierson, Luis Gordillo, Carlos Aires, Ignacio Tovar, Juan del Junco, Tete Álvarez, Moreno Carretero, Gloria Martín, Matías Sánchez o Cristina Lama.

Como comisario ha sido responsable de diferentes proyectos expositivos en los últimos años, entre otras sendas muestras monográficas de Santiago Ydáñez, Ángel Marcos, Dionisio González o Miki Leal. También ha organizado varios proyectos de tesis, destacando la colectiva AFTERPOST. Más allá de la fotografía (2010), MUNDOS PROPIOS. Perspectivas y variaciones de la fotografía andaluza actual (2012) o NUNCA JAMÁS. Historias de niños para adultos (2013) o LOS AGRICULTORES. Recolectar y/o manipular (2014). Asimismo, en este mismo año también ha formado parte del Comité de selección de la XII Bienal de Arte Martínez Guerricabeitia de Valencia y ha sido jurado del Concurso de Artes Visuales Miquel Casablancas de Sant Andreu Contemporani (Barcelona).

He is Professor of Communication, Direction and Production as well as course director for 'Curatorial and Exhibition Project Development in Contemporary Art' organized by the Valentin Madariaga Foundation - MP (Sevilla). It also collaborates with the subject 'Art Criticism' Department of Art History at the University of Seville.

As an art critic is a regular contributor to 'EL CULTURAL' weekly supplement of 'EL MUNDO, the newspaper 'EL DIARIO DE SEVILLA ', the web portal ART-CONTEXTO and editor of the online magazine 'LA RAYA VERDE' and the artists information and archive digital platform PRESENTE CONTINUO. He has published several scholarly books on contemporary art, the last 'Stand By_012. Contemporary Guide to Andalusian Photography '(2012), in addition to writing essays or texts on multiple artists, including Pieter Hugo, Juliao Sarmento, Per Barclay, Martin Kippenberger, Jack Pierson, Luis Gordillo, Carlos Aires, Ignacio Tovar, Juan del Junco, Tete Álvarez, Moreno Carretero, Gloria Martín, Matías Sánchez and Cristina Lama.
