Gemma de Cruz ha escrito sobre arte contemporáneo desde 1998 con su contribución con entrevista de artistas al proyecto ' Die Young, Stay Pretty' en el Instituto de Arte contemporáneo, ICA en Londres. En 2000, se convirtió en editor de la revista de Arte Habitats Arts Club y escribió textos de catálogos para 'Ant Noises 1 y 2' en la Galeria  Saatchi.

Gemma es también autor de la publicación ' Artistas Británicos en su trabajo' ( (Assouline Editions, 2003) y fue editor asistente de la Revista del V&A en los años 2005 y 2006, al mismo tiempo que contribuye en varias revistas de arte internacionales incluyendo Art Review, Modern Painters y BBC Colective. Gemma de Cruz es actualmente editor y co-fundador de 'Art and Music', la revista de la Galeria Saatchi.

Gemma de Cruz has been writing about contemporary art since 1998 when she contributed artists interviews to Die Young Stay Pretty at the ICA. In 2000 she became editor of Habitats Art Club magazine and wrote the catalogue texts for Ant Noises 1 and 2 at the Saatchi gallery.

She is also author of British Artists at Work (Assouline Editions, 2003) and was assistant editor of the V&A magazine between 2005-6 while contributing to various international art magazines and journals including Art Review, Modern Painters and BBC Collective. Gemma de Cruz is the art editor and co-founder of Art & Music - The Saatchi Gallery Magazine.
