Eva Fàbregas

Nacida en Barcelona en 1988, Eva Fàbregas se licenció en bellas artes por la Universitat de Barcelona y completó sus estudios en 2013 con un postgrado de bellas artes en Chelsea College of Arts and Design, Londres, donde actualmente vive y trabaja. El 2010  recibió la beca de la Fundación Botín, Santander.

 

Ha expuesto individualmente en The Green Parrot, Barcelona (2014); Kunstraum, Londres (2014); PlazaPlaza, Londres (2013); Espai Cultural Caja Madrid, Barcelona (2012) y La Capella, Barcelona (2011). Entre sus últimas exposiciones colectivas destacan Fabra i Coats Centre d’Art, Barcelona (2014); Triangle Space, Londres (2013); Can Felipa Arts Visuals, Barcelona (2013); Matadero, Madrid (2012); Fundación Botín, Santander (2012) y Lume Gallery, Helsinki (2010).

 

Su práctica artística explora la movilidad infinita de nuestro día a día y la circulación de mercaderías, signos y personas. Fàbregas tiene interés en el Modernismo y el diseño industrial  como un “Estilo Internacional” de patrones y formas transportables y homogéneas.

Born in 1988 in Barcelona, Eva Fàbregas graduated in fine arts from the University of Barcelona and furthered his studies in 2013 at Chelsea College of Art and Design, London, where she currently lives and works. In 2010, she received a grant from the Botín Foundation, Santander.

 

She has exhibited individually at The Green Parrot, Barcelona (2014); Kunstraum, London (2014); PlazaPlaza, London (2013); Espai Cultural Caja Madrid, Barcelona (2012) and La Capella, Barcelona (2011). She has also participated in Group shows at Fabra i Coats Centre d’Art , Barcelona (2014); Triangle Space, London (2013); Can Felipa Arts Visuals, Barcelona (2013); Matadero, Madrid (2012); Fundación Botín, Santander (2012) y Lume Gallery, Helsinki (2010).

 

Her artistic practice deals with today’s endless mobility and circulation of commodities, signs and people. She has an interest in Modernism and industrial design as an “International Style” of homogenized and transportable patterns and forms.
