Alejandro Botubol

(Cádiz, 1979)

Una característica esencial en la obra de Botubol que no ha cambiado es la constancia y persistente exploración de los fenómenos espaciales. Las imagenes que proyecta se suceden sin figuras humanas. Constantemente investiga en elementos internos y simbólicos en el arte de todos los tiempos. En su ultimo trabajo percibimos ciertos aspectos como La ausencia de gravedad, atemporalidad y el objeto revisado.

 

Licenciado en Bellas Artes Sevilla (2007); Master Idea y Producción, Universidad de Sevilla (2013), Desde el año 2012 reside en Nueva York, a lo largo del año 2013 desarrolla un ambicioso proyecto artistico por diferentes residencias artísticas de Nueva York. : Residency Unlimited (RU) Brooklyn; international studio & curatorial program (iscp), Brooklyn, New York. Flux Factory Long Island City, New York. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Madrid.

Graduated From BFA Painting and Design, University of Fine Arts in Seville (2007); followed by MFA  Art, Idea and Production, University of Fine Arts, Seville (2012). Last Year 2013, Botubol was working in several artist residencies of New York: Residency Unlimited (RU) Brooklyn; international studio & curatorial program (iscp), Brooklyn, New York. Flux Factory Long Island City, New York. Actually lives and works in Madrid.
