Alan Sastre

Licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Barcelona y graduado en Procedimientos Pictóricos y Técnicas Murales por la Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño Llotja, Barcelona.

 

En 2006 obtiene una beca Séneca en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Granada, una beca en la Fundación Rodriguez Acosta en la misma ciudad y en 2007 una beca para The Cooper Union School of Art en Nueva York.

 

Ha participado en exposiciones como Rainbow Merchant en Schwartz Gallery, Londres; Contemporary Visions V (2015) en Beers Contemporary, Londres; Shuffle en Kreuzberg Pavillion, Berlín; Hard Hat (2014) en Library London; Kaleidoscope (2013) en Mowlem Studios, Londres; Swab Art Fair, Barcelona; Premio Internacional de Pintura (2008) Fundación Focus Abengoa, Sevilla; The Exchange Show (2007) The Great Hall Gallery en The Cooper Union Foundation Building, Nueva York o De cómo acotar un cruasán (2006) en la Sala Alta del Palacio de los Condes de Gabia, Granada.

 

Entre las colecciones que han adquirido obra suya destacan Das Eschmertal Museum (Alemania), Colección Font-Irwin, Fundación Rodriguez Acosta, Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño Llotja o la Universidad de Barcelona.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and graduated in Pictorial Procedures and Murals Techniques by the School of Art and Design Llotja, Barcelona.

 

In 2006, He obtained a Seneca scholarship from the Fine Arts School at the University of Granada, a scholarship at the Rodriguez Acosta Foundation in the same city and in 2007 the a fellowship at The Cooper Union School of Art in New York.

 

He has participated in exhibitions such as Rainbow Merchant Schwartz Gallery, London; Contemporary Visions V (2015) in Contemporary Beers, London; Shuffle Pavillion in Kreuzberg, Berlin; Hard Hat (2014) at The Library Club in London ; Kaleidoscope (2013) in Mowlem Studios, London; Swab Art Fair, Barcelona; International Painting Prize (2008) Focus Abengoa Foundation, Seville; The Exchange Show (2007) The Great Hall Gallery at The Cooper Union Foundation Building, New York Or, How narrow a croissant (2006) in the Upper Room of the Palace of the Counts of Gabia, Granada.

 

His work has been included in public and private collections such as Das Eschmertal Museum (Germany), Collection Font-Irwin, Rodriguez Acosta Foundation, College of Art and Design Llotja or the University of Barcelona.
