Tabula rasa o la (im)posibilidad de construir una generación es un proyecto curatorial de Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta y Pau Waelder que tiene como objetivo examinar y presentar a nivel internacional el trabajo de la joven generación de artistas de las Islas Baleares. Una selección formada por la obra de un grupo de artistas nacidos a partir del año 1981 en esta comunidad establece un ilustrativo panorama de la fuerza creativa de una generación que crece superando la insularidad y abriéndose a las influencias y conexiones con el mundo entero. Una generación de artistas que dan voz al arte contemporáneo en las Islas Baleares y han logrado un nivel de excelencia en su trayectoria que les permite dialogar con el panorama artístico internacional.

Tabula rasa or the (im)possibility of building a generation is a curatorial project by Fernando Gómez de la Cuesta and Pau Waelder that intends to examine and present on an international level the work of the younger generation of artists from the Balearic Islands. A selection that includes the work of sixteen artists born after 1981 provides an illustrative overview of the creative force of a generation that grew up looking beyond the limits of the islands and opening their minds to influences and connections with the world. A generation of artists who give voice to contemporary art on the Balearic Islands and have achieved a level of excellence in their career that allows them to contribute to the international art scene.
