'Esta nueva etapa de los Encuentros de Arte persigue la excelencia artística y expande su campo de acción a todas las disciplinas y planteamientos estéticos. El coordinador designado para redireccionar y acometer esta nueva gestión será el artista plástico Fernando Bayona, participante en la edición de 2007.
En esta ocasión el jurado encargado de realizar la selección de los 10 proyectos a desarrollar estará formado por: Susana Blas (Historiadora de arte contemporáneo y redactora del espacio cultural de televisión Metrópolis -tve2-), Javier Díaz Guardiola (Coordinador de las secciones de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseño de ABC Cultural y ABCdeARCO), Fernando Francés (Director del CAC Málaga), Juan Francisco Rueda (Crítico de arte en diario SUR y comisario de exposiciones), Fernando Bayona (artista plástico), Miguel Ángel Herrera (Alcalde de Genalguacil), junto a dos representantes de la Diputación de Málaga y Junta de Andalucía.'

This new phase of the Art Encounters pursues artistic excellence and expands its scope to all disciplines and aesthetic approaches. The coordinator appointed to undertake this new redirect and management will be the artist Fernando Bayona, participant in the 2007 edition. This time the jury for the selection of the 10 projects to be developed will consist of: Susana Blas (historian of contemporary art and editor of the cultural space TV Metropolis-BBC2-), Javier Diaz Guardiola (Coordinator of the sections of Art Architecture and Design of Cultural and ABCdeARCO ABC), Fernando Frances (Director of CAC Málaga), Juan Francisco Rueda (journaling art critic and curator SUR), Fernando Bayona (artist), Miguel Angel Herrera (Mayor of Genalguacil ), along with two representatives of the Provincial Government of Andalusia and Malaga.
